CloZee & Lil Fish: From Toulouse to Red Rocks

CloZee and Lil Fish sit down with Jesse Brede the day after the final tour date of the LSZEE tour at Mission Ballroom where Lil Fish played before CloZee and LSDream in their ground breaking duo, LSZEE. They reflect on their recent tour experiences, the challenges of touring in the U.S., and the cultural differences between the US and France. They discuss the evolution of bass music, the importance of collaboration and friendship in their artistic journeys, and the significance of staying grounded amidst success. The conversation also touches on their future aspirations, the role of labels in artist development, and the creative processes behind their music. ⏱️ Timestamps 00:00 – Welcome + LSZEE Tour reflections 04:00 – The stress of using CDJs for the first and first U.S. shows 08:00 – Red Rocks memories and family moments 13:00 – Toulouse roots & discovering each other’s music 16:00 – Staying humble as fame grows 18:30 – The magic of true collaboration 22:00 – Bass fishing & bass music (yes, both kinds!) 26:00 – Touring life, visas, and the cost of shows 30:00 – Career visions, pressures, and goals 33:30 – Food truck ideas & funny side stories 36:00 – LSDream collabs, Joshua Tree sessions, and writing flow 41:00 – Creative schedules: night owls vs early risers 46:00 – Labels, Odyzey, and supporting new artists 52:00 – Behind the scenes of tours and production 53:45 – Closing thoughts & gratitude Thanks to @BigUpStudios in Denver, Colorado for hosting and editing this episode. 🔗 Connect with CloZee Instagram: https://instagram.com/clozeeofficial Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4UZkoZEHPJg63DGxfUJgbn YouTube: https://youtube.com/@CloZeeOfficial Twitter/X: https://twitter.com/clozeeofficial Website: https://www.clozee.net 🔗 Connect with Lil Fish Instagram: https://instagram.com/lilfishmusic Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6Yge8IpttXm0YgozjV5q83 YouTube: https://youtube.com/@LilFishMusic Facebook: https://facebook.com/lilfishmusic 🎙️ About A Path Unfolding Hosted by Jesse Breda (founder of Gravitas Recordings & Lion’s Share Digital), this podcast dives into the stories of artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs forging their own path.
